Refund Policy

At The Bolingey Inn, we strive to provide excellent service and complete customer satisfaction. Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis and issued only where appropriate, in line with UK consumer law.

Food & Drink

Once food or drink has been served or consumed on the premises, refunds will not be given unless the product is proven to be unsatisfactory or not as described. Any issue regarding food or drink quality must be reported immediately to a member of staff so that it can be resolved on the spot. Refunds or replacements will not be provided for personal taste preferences or for items left uneaten without explanation.

Bookings and Deposits

Deposits for table reservations, private functions, or special events are non-refundable unless the cancellation is made at least 72 hours in advance or otherwise agreed in writing. Cancellations made after this period may result in the loss of the deposit to cover costs incurred. In exceptional cases—such as emergencies, venue closure, or a clear error on our part—we may, at our discretion, transfer the deposit to a future booking or issue a full refund.

Event Tickets and Pre-Paid Experiences

Tickets purchased for events, live music nights, or pre-paid experiences are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled or rescheduled by The Bolingey Inn. If an event is cancelled, customers will be offered the option of a full refund or credit towards a future event.

Online or Pre-Paid Orders

Orders placed for takeaway or collection can be cancelled up to one hour before the scheduled collection time for a full refund. If cancellation occurs after this time, or if the order is not collected, no refund will be issued. Refunds for incorrect or missing items will only be processed if reported within 24 hours of the order.

Payment Method and Processing Time

Approved refunds will be issued using the same payment method used for the original purchase. Please allow five to ten working days for the refund to appear, depending on your bank or card provider.
